“The anchor is from the “Fitz”, right dad?”
“Yes, they almost made it to Whitefish Point.”
“It was a bad November, but the “Anderson” made it through.”
“They say she never gives up her dead.”
“At least we remember them with the ringing of Twenty Nine Bells every year.”
Oh Danny Boy! 
Wow…I almost did this story! We are devout fans of Gichi-Gami. Indeed, she never gives up her dead. We live in the Great Lakes, and love its history. Good job here.
