This week in “Mondays Finish The story” the opening sentence is: “Would anyone know if there truly was an alien invasion?”
“Would anyone know if there truly was an alien invasion?” said Sarah. “I mean seriously Ralph? I’ve read some pretty interesting stuff by H.G. Wells, Arthur C. Clarke, and Robert A. Heinlein on this subject. You know me, I never make a decision unless I’m 100% sure and I’m not sure if anyone would truly know. I have to contemplate that whole idea. I need to take my time and live my life at my own pace. In fact, now that I think about it I really don’t care if there were an alien invasion.
“Are you listening to me Ralph?” Slowly turning around she noticed the smashed tibia and femur bones of her deceased mate.
She issued a small “burp.”
Anyone else think this is funny or am I the only one LMAO? 👍

How do you think of this stuff?! This was wonderful. I looked at the picture and all I could think of was little green men…must be why I don’t write. 🙂

Sometime I draw a blank also. Then I think of something to write and as I write it becomes another story entirely. It was originally going to be about Ralph and Alice from the old Honeymooners TV show and the famous line “To the moon Alice.” But it never materialized.

This is great. What fun and his name isn’t George, either! 🙂 I’m a sci fi nut by the way, Heinlein one of my favorites!

I just reread “Strangers from a Strange Land” by Heinlein again and also “The Unpleasant Profession of Jonathan Hoag.” Weird stuff!
